There is no more touching story than that of a faithful dog who waits at the end of a pathway for the return home of his master, long deceased. Hollywood produced a move in 2009 called Hachiko, which told of a dog who waited at the station each day for years after his master died. There is a similar tale at Mulderbosch and a wine named Faithful Hound honours the story. The Mulderbosch Faithful Hound 2010 is a Bordeaux styled blend of the five great wine grapes of Bordeaux, the two Cabernets, Franc and Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
