Refreshing, beautifully balanced and delicious, they are all made to express our varied terroir and classical styling.
All our wines are vegan-friendly and are meant for drinking when you buy them. Some are also structured to last for up to 10-15 years, when maturity and secondary flavours can add an additional dimension to your experience.

Creativity is central to the Mulderbosch Cap Classique and encapsulates our vision for innovation, creatively pursuing and endeavouring our own course in wine style. The Mulderbosch Cap Classique continues this tradition with the inclusion of a meaningful Pinot Meunier component with the intention to produce a unique house style of Cap Classique unlike anything currently available in South Africa.

SPARKLING ROSE 2021
Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards are managed specifically with the idea of rosé production in mind. Early picking dates result in naturally high levels of acidity and a bright spectrum of fruit flavours ideal in rosé style wines. Once pressed, the juice is handled as per Sauvignon Blanc, i.e. cool fermentation with aromatic yeasts to heighten the vibrant, zesty aromas and fresh mineral palate. Crucial to this style of rosé is early bottling in order to preserve the wine’s inherent freshness. Bubbles are introduced using a state of the art in-line carbonation process.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON ROSE 2023
Trailblazing the infant rosé category in South Africa, the first Mulderbosch Rosé was released in 1999. The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards specifically farmed to produce Rosé fruit. On arrival at the cellar, these early picked, specially selected grapes are vinified in the same manner in which an aromatic white wine would be, with the aim of producing a fresh, aromatic style of Rosé.

This wine spent 8 months in neutral, big format oak barrels before a state of the art, in-line carbonation processes helped to fulfil the dream of creating a world class Sparkling wine.

Mulderbosch Faithful Hound celebrates the virtues of Bordeaux’s great tradition of blending. Aside from investing considerable effort in our own vineyards in close proximity to False Bay, our quest to find the perfect sites for each of the five varieties used in the blend led us from cooler sites to the rich, shale soils of Bottelary. The goal with each bottling of Faithful Hound is to produce a rich, complex wine that comfortably expresses old world class and the generosity of fruit associated with Stellenbosch.
