Mulderbosch Faithful Hound celebrates the virtues of Bordeaux’s great tradition of blending. Aside from investing considerable effort in our own vineyards in close proximity to False Bay, our quest to find the perfect sites for each of the five varieties used in the blend led us from cooler sites to the rich, shale soils of Bottelary. The goal with each bottling of Faithful Hound is to produce a rich, complex wine that comfortably expresses old world class and the generosity of fruit associated with Stellenbosch.

The Mulderbosch Estate blend encapsulates our past, present and future. Our proud heritage paved the way for this exceptional wine that promises to hold its own for many years. Cabernet Franc leads this fresh, finessed and finely balanced red blend. Made from grapes grown exclusively on Mulderbosch, it is the culmination of our soils, our farm and our home.
